Tasmania
is a land of intrinsic beauty with a soft temperate
climate so like Scotland.
A land of rugged mountains, pristine wilderness, ancient
rainforests, a myriad of lakes and tarns and with an
extremely rich agricultural cropping land that produces
a rich bounty of clean green foods.
The prevailing roaring forties bring snow and rain to
revive the fast flowing streams and rivers that cascade
over waterfalls and rapids producing a bountiful supply
of clear clean waters.
The rich cropping soils provide the finest of Tasmania
Distillery - Franklin Barley unique
for the production of the distillers mash. The air is
the world’s cleanest and unpolluted.
Tasmania looks like a rolling watercolour painting and
is a gift to the world from mothernature. Our distillery
can be found below the imposing Mount Wellington in
Hobart.
One can believe that this is the most beautiful place
on earth as the early morning mists in springtime waft
over that dominanting mountain range which once provided
habitat for the elusive Tasmanian Tiger. |
